A summary of typical guests' reviews:
"The location of the hotel is excellent. It is close enough to walk to the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and very close to the Pantheon. We most enjoyed the entertainment in Farnese, Campo di Fiori, and Navona squares, all of which are very close to the hotel."
"We had a double room in the corner of the building, so we actually had 2 windows with great cross-breezes. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom, although a bit small, was well equipped and clean. Although we did not use the pool table in the common area, it was a nice touch. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate staying at the Residenza Farnese again."
"I have really increased the pleasure of visiting Rome by staying at Residenza Farnese. The place is charming, and it is situated in a privileged site so that the visitor can promenade around in a number of routes always different and always delightful. The service is excellent and the employees are lovely."
"A perfect location for touring, eating and shopping in roma. Nice price, nice services and new facilities. Better than my immaginations getting from web's description."
"The hotel is on the side street next to the French Embassy and one square off of the Campo di Fiore; which made its location great & we (3 women) always felt safe. The hotel was clean, the room size good for 3 women. Because it is on the side street & near the river--very little noise. The breakfast had rolls, cheese, cereal, milk, juice, etc. So was a good start to the day. FYI--ask them to make arrangements for transport back to the airport if needed. It was only about 35 Euro's, a nice car, etc. You can walk to Campo di Fiore, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trastavere & the Vatican from here. All the dinner locations are near. In the square in front of the Palazzo Farnese is a FANTASTIC trattatoria. I LOVED Rome & will stay here each time. Between the location & quiet; it was a great place to stay."
"We are familiar with the area. It is just around the corner from the Piazza Farnese, which I consider to be one of the most desireable locations in Rome. It is on a very quiet street so noise is not a problem. The hotel is very clean. Our room was a little on the small side with one comfortable lounge chair. We would have preferred a second comfortable chair in the room. The bathroom was clean and average size with stall shower. Accross the Piazza Farnese, you can catch the small electric bus (#116) for a short ride to St. Peter's or the Pantheon."
"Hotel accomodation in a quiet corner of Rome's historical center. Beautiful surroundings, air conditioning and good service make up for the room price. Excellent possibilities to participate in Rome's night life at Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Farnese."
"The central location within one mile of all old city sites allowed walking through pleasant surroundings instead of dealing with buses and taxis. The breakfast buffets were fresh and delicious with a large selection."
"Very accomodating staff, very clean rooms. The Campo dei Fiori is like a wonderful little neighborhood. We will be staying again next year!"
"Absolutely fabulous hotel in a very central location. Room was superb and not too much noise from the street. I'll be back! Thanks for the nice stay in Rome."
"Delightful hotel! I highly recommend this property. The location was on not in a high-traffic area but on a small street, which was a real plus after all I had read about the traffic and noise in Rome. Very nice public areas and my room was spacious by European standards, clean and well decorated. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was the best I encountered in my travels. Can't say enough about this jewel."
